Drifting

£795.00

I often find washed up plastic debris during my daily dog walks on my local beach in Saltdean, Brighton; one day I stumbled across this washed up bodyboard. I decided to repurpose this cast-off body-board into a substrate. Using acrylic paints and responsibly gathered beach sand, the resulting seascape not only transforms the discarded object but also highlights the urgent need to protect our oceans. Each stroke on this reclaimed bodyboard ‘canvas’ becomes a visual plea—a call to action against plastic pollution and a testament to the resilience of our seas when we choose to love, protect and preserve them.
